WWE Monday Night Raw results

With the “Rock Bottom Heard ‘Round the World” still resounding throughout the WWE Universe, John Cena attempted to set the issue straight. Instead, the Cenation leader created an entirely different issue between the members of The “Awesome Truth.”

John Cena embarrassed The “Awesome Truth”; The Miz laid R-Truth out

In the middle of addressing The Rock’s attack on him, John Cena was interrupted, as usual, by The “Awesome Truth.” Looking to rile up the Cenation leader, The Awesome One and his dangerous crony got more than they bargained for when Cena turned the tables and convinced both Superstars that they shouldn’t trust one another.
The Cenation’s leader’s seeds of doubt quickly grew into a serious issue between the partners in crime, leading to pushing and shoving in the ring. As politically savvy as ever, The Miz managed to calm his partner down, but as soon as R-Truth turned his back, his former friend nailed him with a blistering Skull-Crushing Finale on the steel entrance ramp.
Wade Barrett def. Kofi Kingston
The man who led Team Barrett to victory at Survivor Series continued his so-called “Barrage” on WWE Raw SuperShow as he barreled through Kofi Kingston, but the British Superstar’s bout was shaken by a surprise appearance from Randy Orton. Momentarily taking Barrett off his game, The Viper kept a keen eye on the action from ringside as his rival scored the win. The arrogant brawler taunted Orton after the bout, but the former WWE Champion did not strike. Like a true predator, he’s waiting for the perfect opportunity.

Big Show discussed his destruction of World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry

Using all 480 pounds of his 7-foot frame to decimate Mark Henry’s ankle during Sunday’s World Heavyweight Championship Match, Big Show personally inducted The World’s Strongest Man into the Hall of Pain at Survivor Series. The World’s Largest Athlete admitted it felt good to hurt his rival, but he won’t be happy until he’s wearing the World Heavyweight Title around his massive waist.

WWE Champion CM Punk def. United States Champion Dolph Ziggler in a Title-free Match

Their championships may not have been at stake in this match, but both new WWE Champion CM Punk and United States Champion Dolph Ziggler certainly fought like they were. Convinced that he was, in fact, the new face of WWE, the United States Title holder looked to knock Punk off his perch early, but The Straight Edge Superstar wasn’t going down that easy. Catching the bleached blond off guard, the WWE Champion scored with a devastating GTS to secure a  thrilling victory.
Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes def. Santino Marella
Describing himself as unmasked, unbeatable and completely unrepentant, Cody Rhodes made an example of Santino Marella, but the real story occurred after the match. Before leaving ringside, the Intercontinental Champion unexpectedly threw a glass of water in the face of commentator Booker T. Afterward, Book revealed that he tried to convince Rhodes that his problems were in his head earlier in the night — an unwelcome bit of advice that clearly didn’t sit well with the disturbed Superstar.

Kevin Nash taunted Triple H

With Triple H still recuperating from Kevin Nash’s vicious sledgehammer attack, the big man took another opportunity to taunt his former friend on live television. Taking cruel pleasure in his words, Nash bragged about returning to Madison Square Garden — the sight of “The Kliq’s” infamous 1996 WWE farewell — while The Game was incapacitated at home. Nash then reiterated that his animosity towards The Cerebral Assassin comes down to one thing — friendship. In Big Daddy Cool’s view, WWE’s COO ended The Kliq when he didn’t sign him to a contract, so Nash ended The King of Kings by breaking his neck with a sledgehammer.

Sheamus def. Jack Swagger

Jack Swagger was so furious after being manhandled by Sheamus during Sunday’s Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match that he demanded a bout with The Celtic Warrior tonight. Big mistake. Attacking his opponent with the same fire that got him disqualified at Survivor Series, The Great White planted The All-American American with a Brogue Kick.

Alberto Del Rio def. Zack Ryder

Less than 24 hours after dropping the WWE Title to CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio was out to prove that he was still the man to beat in WWE, but he was facing one of the fastest rising Superstars in WWE. Still pumping his fist from the ovation he received in the Garden, Zack Ryder had the WWE fans in Hershey behind him tonight, but it wasn’t enough to stop the underhanded skills of The Mexican Aristocrat.

WWE Champion CM Punk mouthed off to John Laurinaitis

Still reeling after winning the WWE Title in Madison Square Garden at Survivor Series, WWE Champion CM Punk promised the WWE faithful in Hershey, Pennsylvania that he would make things interesting on WWE Raw SuperShow again. His first goal? To put Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis on the unemployment line.

The WWE Universe may have liked the sound of that, but Mr. Laurinaitis was quick to squash their applause. Entering to tell the new WWE Champion that he believes they can work together, the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations promised that he was more radical than one might expect and then proved his unpredictability by scheduling Punk in two bouts — a rematch against Alberto Del Rio next Monday and a showdown with United States Champion Dolph Ziggler tonight.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown results

With Survivor Series looming, The Celtic Warrior helped Randy Orton down Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes. But, which Superstar caused the out to end in a disqualification?  Prior to Dolph Ziggler's match with Sin Cara, Vickie Guerrero praised the fact that the United States Champion will complete twice at Survivor Series - defending his title against John Morrison and replacing an injured Christian in the 5-on-5 Traitional Survivor Series Tag Team Match. Following the altercatin that took place after the Sin Cara vs. Dolph Ziggler match, Teddy Long made an impromptu showdown between Mason Ryan and Jack Swagger. The ultra-powerful Ryan ultimately emerged victorious, locking Swagger in a full nelson, before driving him into the canvas. Smackdown opened in a state of turmoil, as the "disrespected" World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry unleashed a ruthless assault on Daniel Bryan near the locker room area., before dragging his prey out in front of the WWE Universe to continue the carnage. Though Mr. Money in the Bank tried valiantly to fight back, his fierce attacker proved too strong. After delivering back-to back World's Strongest Slams to finish off the gutsy target of his rage, Henry promised that this Sunday, Big Show will be carried out of Survivor Series at Madion Square Garden and he would leave still the World Heavyweight Champion. Claiming the injuries to his neck and ankle that caused him to be replaced at Suvivor Series could keep him out of action for months; Christian laid the blame on Big Show's attack two weeks ago, Smackdown GM Theodore Long's "incompetence" and the strain of the WWE's recent European Tour. Promising to continue to inspire the members of Team Barrett to victory at Survivor Series, the former World Heavyweight Champion tore into the WWE Universe for not being sympathetic to his plight. NXT's power couple, "Beta-Max," made their Smackdown debut, as Derrick Bateman took on Ted DiBiase. But, with the "DiBiase Posse" in full effect, love would not win out. Instead, it would be the happy-go-lucky second-generation- Superstar who picked up another impressive win with Dream Street. Big Show may have arrived in Bridgeport too late to stop Mark Henry's brutal assault on Daniel Bryan. However, with The World's Strongest Champion's attack on him at Money in the Bank still in the forefront of his mind, the giant made it clear that his ferocious foe would not walk out of Survivior Series. In no uncertain terms, he promised to capture the World Title with the help of the WMD. In a fast-paced thrill ride between Survivor Series Tag team Match combatants, Kofi Kingston reigned supreme over Hunico with the SOS. After the bell, the Mexican high-flyer showed open hostility towards the referee, for what he clearly felt was an earlier missed three-count in his favor. Two days before Divas Champion Beth Phoenix will battle Eve in a Lumberjill Match at Survivor Series, The Fabulous Firebird teamed up with her "Pin-up Strong" cohort Natalya. Despite a spirited effort by their beautiful opponents, Natalya ultimately made AJ tap out to the Sharpshooter. When Survivor Series Team Captain Barrett and Rhodes attempted to use the crutch after the match, The Celtic Warrior turned the tide, blasting Rhodes with the Brogue Kick. Sheamus then broke the weapon over Barrett's back, setting up Team Captain Orton to blast The English Superstar with the RKO. The Great White then followed suit, hitting the Celtic Cross on the Intercontinental Champion to give Team Orton incredible momentum heading into Survivor Series.

The 10 Greatest WWE Entrances In WrestleMania History

The Show of Shows is known as much for its matches as it is for the epic pyro, anthems and Superstar fanfare that precede them. Take a look back at the most amazing entrances ever made on the grandest stage of them all.
John Cena WM 23 entrance1. John Cena, WrestleMania 23
The WWE Universe had no idea what to expect when a black Mustang with white racing stripes tore down the streets of Motor City and came crashing into Ford Field. Shards of glass scattered everywhere and, as the car came to a screeching halt, the rousing tones of The Champ’s music began to play. Cena capped the night off with a big win against Shawn Michaels.

HBK
2. Shawn Michaels, The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania
The stage was set in blinding white—a stark contrast to the black of night Undertaker cloaks himself in. With angelic illumination and plenty of smoke, Shawn Michaels—arms open to the heavens—ascended onto the stage. It was an almost religious moment; that is, until “Sexy Boy” sounded throughout the arena and the true Heartbreak Kid revealed himself.

Triple H
3. Triple H, WrestleMania XXVII
Images of a scorched and trodden earth flashed upon the TitanTron, and a regiment of armor-clad warriors with shields assembled in battle formation. As Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls” blared throughout the stadium, the army scattered to reveal its king. Standing alone in a single spotlight, Triple H—wearing a skull mask designed by Tom Savini—made the most metal entrance to date.

Edge
4. Edge, WrestleMania XXIV
With WrestleMania XXIV held outdoors in Orlando, FL, The Ultimate Opportunist had the luxury of emerging amid the most insane pyro of the night. Edge entered the Citrus Bowl in a haze of smoke with devil horns offered to the sky. After offering a kiss to Vickie Guerrero, and strutting all the way to the ring, The Rated R-Superstar stared down Undertaker on his way to their historic World Heavyweight Championship Match.

Undertaker WM 205. Undertaker, WrestleMania XX
The WWE Universe had not seen Undertaker in action since his Buried Alive Match at Survivor Series the previous fall. But that wasn’t going to deter The Deadman from continuing his undefeated streak. An urn-carrying Paul Bearer stepped out into a purple-lit, foggy ramp with fire-wielding druids trailing slowly behind. It was surreal. It was mesmerizing. It was an epic way to pave the return for The Phenom.

16
6. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, WrestleMania 13
The WWE Universe was no stranger to the thunderous sound of shattered glass signaling "Stone Cold’s" entrance, but at WrestleMania 13, it was The Texas Rattlesnake doing the actual shattering. Badass to the bone, Stone Cold smashed through a door-sized window with the words “Austin 3:16” inscribed across it. And no, he didn’t wipe his feet afterward.

John Cena entrance7. John Cena, The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania
What’s better than seeing John Cena at WrestleMania? Seeing 200 John Cena look-alikes in one of the most engaging WrestleMania entrances to date. The entrance ramp didn’t feature a red carpet, but instead was lined on either side with John Cena clones, saluting The Champ with his “You Can’t See Me” hand gesture. The psyche-out worked, too: Cena won the World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat Match.

8. Rhythm & Blues WrestleMania VI
Walking be damned. For their memorable trek to the ring, Greg Valentine and Honky Tonk man, accompanied by “The Mouth of the South,” rode like royalty inside a Pink Cadillac driven by Diamond Dallas Page. Together, Rhythm & Blues performed their gold-record hit, “Honk-a Honk-a Honkey Love,” though sadly, the rhythm-less Bushwhackers ruined their impromptu concert.

Triple H
9. Triple H, The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania
An ominous green glow filled the arena, signaling that the Time To Play The Game had finally come. Triple H stepped out in front of more than 72,000 members of the WWE Universe; however, he was faced with…not his opponent, Randy Orton, but the image of himself. From atop the TitanTron stage, The King of Kings, staring into a wall of reflections, threw his mighty sledgehammer and decimated the entire mirror.

WrestleMania Ring Cart10. WrestleMania Ring Carts, WrestleMania III & VI
Designed to look like mini-rings complete with turnbuckles and ropes to safely hold the Superstars, these elevated carts carried the night’s competitors to the ring. While some, such as The Orient Express, rode in stoically, as if their stance meant they were literally above the people, others, like The Rockers, used their ride as the perfect chance to share some high-fives with the WWE Universe.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown results

In a battle between Survivor Series Team Captains, Wade Barrett scored a startling victory over Randy Orton in the first-ever Smackdown from Liverpool, England. Sheamus faced off against Christian in a match earlier tonight as well. Sheamus won that match. Daniel Bryan tangled with The World's Strongest Man Mark Henry for the second week in a row. Could he find a way to overcome the World Heavyweight Champion? That remains a mystery. Survivor Series marks 21 years since The Undertaker's debut in 1990. But The Deadman's whereabouts since WrestleMania XXVII are a mystery as well. Where is he? Over the years The Phenom has proven time and time again that there is no grave that can hold him down, so we can only wonder when and how he will make his grand return. It's the 25th annual Survivor Series at The World's Most Famous Arena, and WWE's celebrating the occasion by throwing a party for the WWE Universe Friday, Nov. 18 at noon at Madison Square Garden Plaza in New York City. The event is free and open to the public.

WWE Monday Night RAW results

Sometimes the truth hurts, as proven by The Miz & R-Truth whose aggressive, underhanded tactics left John Cena duped and defeated on RAW SuperShow. On Raw, Kelly Kelly unveiled the new "Maxim" magazine cover featuring the blonde bombshell herself. See the cover and find out who soured the celebration in Liverpool, England. Re-signed Superstar Kevin Nash emerged on Raw SuperShow to detail why he turned on his ex-best friend, The Game. WWE Friday Night Smackdown results

Right when Friday Night Smackdown started on Telivision this past Friday... there was a street fight between, Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes. They put on a fantastic street fight and it might just be one of the best street fights that I have ever seen in the WWE before. Randy Orton won that street fight. There was also other great things that went down this past Friday on Friday Night Smackdown. There was a match between Mark Henry, and Daniel Bryan too. Daniel Bryan was pretty good in the match, but Big Show was ringside of Daniel Bryan so things ended up to be not so good between, Big Show, and Mark Henry. Big Show ended the match for Daniel Bryan because Big Show got real mad at, Mark Henry for almost destroying, Daniel Bryan, that soon lead to a big right hand fist to the skull of, Mark Henry. Mark Henry was knocked out. Daniel Bryan was too late to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. On Smackdown, Sin Cara battled the new Mexican Superstar, Epico. Hunico showed his allegiance to Epico and attacked the masked marvel this past Friday also. International Superstars collided as Sheamus battled, Wade Barret on Smackdown.  Christian interrupted Big Show's address to the WWE Universe. Rather than knocking Christian out, The World's Strongest Athlete chokeslammed him. Alica Fox got a leg up on Natalya  on Smackdown. Ted DiBiase used his strength to secure a win against the agile Tyson Kidd.

WWE Halloween edition of Monday Night RAW results

This is a post for everybody that didn't and/or couldn't watch WWE Monday Night RAW tonight. Tonight Monday Night RAW was spectacular! It was possibly one of the best Halloween editions of WWE Monday Night RAW that I have seen in a while. WWE and the fans that were watching Monday Night RAW live in Atlanta, Georgia heard from, The Rock and The Rock's answer was an absolute yes that John Cena and himself are going to be teaming up at Survivor Series against R Truth and The Miz! There was also a Diva's battle royal that took place earlier tonight too, and Eve won the battle royal and became the #1 contender to face off against Beth Phoenix for the WWE Woman's Championship. Michael Cole was supposed to have a one on one match up against J.R. earlier tonight on Monday Night RAW but that didn't happen, in fact J.R. wasn't even in the building earlier tonight because he had to take care of a disease that he has supposedly. Jerry The King Lawler thought that Michael Cole was lying to him, the fans, and the rest of the WWE because he didn't want to wrestle J.R. but apparently it was the truth. Don't worry, I didn't forget them! The Muppets were the guests on WWE Monday Night RAW earlier tonight as you knew they were going to be, and it seemed like all of them had so much fun! Sheamus made one of the Muppets hair spiked up straight to match his. That was pretty neat and that's going to be a pretty awesome memory. Alberto Del Rio's special ring announcer took a real beating earlier tonight! CM Punk threw him into the ring for Mark Henry to harm him some, and that's exactly what Mark Henry did. He gave him a World's Strongest Slam. Other than all that I have told you were some other matches that weren't as important and some other moments with, The Muppets. All I have to say now is, happy Halloween and I hope you had a great one.

WWE Pay-Per-View Vengeance 2011

At the WWE Pay-Per-View, Vengeance, was a match between The World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry and The World's Largest Athlete, Big Show ended in a shocking no contest when the ring collapsed as the result of the 412-pound champion superplexing the 485-pound challenger. Exactly how much force does it take to collapse a WWE ring that has contained some of the most colossal collisions in the history of hand-to-hand combat? We don’t have a physics department here at WWE.com so we were forced to seek elsewhere for answers. Luckily, members of the WWE Universe come from all walks of life and we found a physics professor who is also a proud WWE fan. Dr. Matthew Cathey of Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C. was kind enough to take time from grading exams to provide WWE.com with these calculations: Mark Henry and Big Show weigh a combined 897 pounds. Assuming their combined center of gravity fell six feet, their combined mass hit the mat at about 20 feet per second, or a bit over 13 miles per hour. That impact created a release of kinetic energy of 7253 Joules, which is equivalent to:

  • Rey Mysterio (175 pounds) leaping onto his opponent from the top of steel cage hitting 30 feet, seven inches high, approximately twice as high as his SmackDown debut

  • The detonation of approx. two grams of the explosive, trinitrotoluene (TNT).

  • The energy at the muzzle of four rounds fired from an M16 rifle (WWE.com double-checked this fact with our friends at NationalGuard.com).
I think it took a little (bad) luck to break the ring. Different parts of the ring would handle that stress differently, as the shock waves created by the impact would be propagated differently. Notice how the opposite ring post is the first to collapse; that’s exactly the opposite of what you would expect.  It was also not instantaneous. It took a split second to collapse. That’s the really fascinating aspect thing about of this incident.  Again, this is speculation, but I think the energy imparted into the ring by the impact bounced around for a second, seeking a way to get dissipated (it usually does this mainly by oscillations in the ring surface doing work by lifting the Superstars and Divas an inch or two; you can see them bounce after a big impact), but the energy was too much for the corner that collapsed.

This was my first thought:Bad luck similar to this caused the collapse of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge to collapse in 1940.  The wind that took it down was well within specifications that bridge was built to withstand but the angle and speed of the wind created a resonance that caused the energy which was trying to dissipate to actually reinforce itself and destroy the structure.
It’s the same phenomenon that causes a crystal glass to shatter when a soprano hits exactly the right note.
After entering Professor Cathey’s studious scientific explanation into my personal proprietary intellectual to extreme language translator, I offer this reaction to the structural subsidence: “OH MY GOD!”

Remembering Eddie Guerrero

Eddie Guerrero was a very, very talented WWE Superstar, and to see him wrestle on Television was what I call something real special because there will never be anybody quite like Eddie Guerrero that will ever enter a ring again. Eddie Guerrero's Birthday was 20 days ago. I forgot Eddie Guerrero's Birthday this year and that's why I wanted to make this post about Eddie Guerrero and why he is so special. Whenever Eddie Guerrero would make his way down the entrance way in the WWE, he'd be smiling almost all the time, and having his good old smirk on his face most of the time too. I remember seeing Eddie Guerrero on Television when I was just a little kid. He would make his way down the entrance way in a car sometimes from what I remember. Eddie Guerrero was a very special guy. He did what he wanted to do, which was to wrestle. He loved wrestling. He made his dream come true, and for that I thank you, Eddie. I felt that Eddie Guerrero was kind of like another father to me because he inspired me so much. Eddie Guerrero is really the #1 WWE Superstar that has kept me into the WWE for all of these years now, and still years to come. He meant and still means so much to me. Eddie Guerrero had several ring names in the WWE. I'll miss you, Eddie, and I will make sure that nobody ever forgets you. I love you, man. R.I.P, Eddie Guerrero. 1967 - 2005

Most anticipated match in history

I recommend not missing this event, rented or seeing it live because you'd be seeing a match that is going to make history at WrestleMania. The match is going to be spectacular to see because John Cena is going to be facing The Rock! John Cena and The Rock are both very good at wrestling. It doesn't matter who wins the match because both of these wrestlers are very much liked. All I know is that this match at WrestleMania, this year, is going to be yet one of the best matches that has ever taken place at WrestleMania. WrestleMania XXVIII is going to be at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida on April 1, 2012. This years WrestleMania is a MUST SEE WrestleMania.

I thought you'd like to see something pretty neat that is Halloween based if you haven't already seen it. Here are some of the WWE Superstars that you still see today wrestling in the ring as zombies: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/wwe-zombies/wwe-zombie-photos

WWE Halloween edition of Monday Night RAW

If you're a WWE fan, make sure to watch Monday Night RAW, Monday. There's going to be a special edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, and the Muppets are even going to be guests on there for the night! I'm sure it'll be an awesome Halloween edition of Monday Night RAW. Perhaps there will be details on how Triple H is doing this Monday too, after he got brutally attacked by, Kevin Nash. Other than that, all I have to say is, happy Halloween!

About me and what I do

Hello, my name is Adam. I'm 13 years old and in the 7th grade. I am a HUGE fan of the WWE. You can ask me almost any question about the WWE and I'll most likely get it right because I have been into it for about 7 years now. I have also been collecting WWE Jakks Pacific action figures since 2005, but when Mattel started making WWE action figures, I started collecting them too. My favorite WWE Superstar was and still is today, Eddie Guerrero. He has inspired me and is basically the #1 WWE Superstar that has kept me into the WWE for all of these years now, and years to come! I am also a fan of Club Penguin. My Club Penguin username is: Johncena915. I joined Club Penguin in 2007. I don't go on a whole lot anymore, but I am going to try to go on as much as I can for now on because I want to meet new people on there, and also try to find some of my old friends that I haven't seen for a long time on there.
I am a big fan of xat too, that is if you were wondering if I had anything to do with xat. My xat shortname and ID is: Wrestling (71950385). I am usually at the xat chats: http://xat.com/yodaads and http://xat.com/wwfandwwefans. Feel free to come to either one of those xat chats to see if I am there if you'd like to. I have a YouTube account too. My YouTube channel name is: MarkIsBeast123. Please feel free again to check out my YouTube channel if you'd like to.
